Aeroo Shield AS01 aerosol fire extinguishing system
SMOKE / AEROSOL GENERATOR
Protect your assets with the AEROO SHIELD AS01 aerosol fire extinguishing system — an advanced solution designed to deliver maximum safety and rapid response.
The AEROO SHIELD 1 – AS01 is a self-contained, thermally activated aerosol generator, fully automatic and purpose-built for effective fire protection in small, fire-prone spaces.
The AEROO SHIELD 1 – AS01 is a compact, self-contained aerosol fire extinguishing system, thermally activated and fully automatic. Its lightweight design and small form factor make it ideal for installation in confined, fire-prone areas.
Equipped with high-strength adhesive backing, the unit can be easily affixed to a variety of surfaces, ensuring quick and straightforward installation.
Activation occurs via a linear ignition fuse, which is triggered upon contact with an open flame. Once activated, the extinguishing agent is rapidly dispersed, flooding the protected space to suppress the fire effectively.
The AEROO SHIELD 1 – AS01 provides reliable fire protection for volumes up to 0.1 cubic metres and is particularly well-suited for use in electrical panels, control boxes, meter enclosures, and electrical distribution cabinets.

A single unit is designed to protect a volume of up to 0.1 cubic meters (m³). For optimal performance, the unit should be mounted in one of two configurations:
- Ceiling Installation: Position the unit directly above the anticipated point of fire initiation, ensuring that the activation points are oriented downward toward the protected area.
- Wall Installation: Mount the unit on the side wall of the enclosure, with the activation points facing directly toward the equipment or components being protected.
The orientation of the activation points is critical for effective fire suppression and must be directed toward the fire risk zone. For enclosed spaces exceeding 0.1 m³, multiple units may be required. In such cases, refer to the product's technical specifications for detailed guidance on unit quantity, spacing, and installation layout to ensure full coverage and compliance with safety standards.
Operating Conditions and Safety Guidelines – AS01 Aerosol Fire Extinguishing System
If the unit reaches its expiration date without being activated, it must be removed and returned to the supplier in accordance with manufacturer disposal procedures.
The AS01 aerosol generator must remain in a closed (sealed) state prior to activation to ensure reliable and safe performance.
Ensure there are no obstructions within 100 mm directly in front of the device’s activation nozzles. This clear space is critical for proper discharge and system effectiveness.
Do not install the device in air exhaust areas or beneath the protected zone, as these positions may disrupt aerosol distribution and reduce suppression efficiency.
Upon activation, the device will start automatically. Do not touch the unit until it has fully cooled down, as high surface temperatures may cause burns.
After discharge, promptly ventilate the area by opening windows or doors to allow aerosol particles to disperse.
The product should be stored in a cool dry place with good ventilation and exposure to sunlight should be avoided.
